Seeman Student Travel Awards (all students)

International Society for Nanoscale Science, Computation and Engineering (ISNSCE) is excited to announce the open competition for the Seeman Student Travel Awards at DNA32.

The awardees will be chosen based on a combination of quality, novelty and importance of research, diversity of scientific areas, and connection to Nadrian C. Seeman’s vision of « controlling matter with chemical information ».

To apply, please submit a short paragraph (150 words max) explaining how your talk or poster, which must already be accepted for presentation at DNA32, relates to your vision of nanoscience. It should not simply be a variation of the conference abstract. Instead, articulate your thoughts about why you are drawn to the field of DNA computing and molecular programming, how you intend to move the field forward, or how your work contributes to the vision of controlling matter with chemical information.

Awardees will receive up to $1,000 USD that may be used toward reimbursement of registration, airfare, or hotel expenses for attending DNA32, and will be expected to attend a special dinner event at the conference.

Information and deadline for submission coming soon.

Eligibility: We invite undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students from all backgrounds, disciplines, and countries to apply. The only requirement is that you must present a talk or poster at DNA32.
